VP - Managing Director, Business Development

We are an award-winning digital and traditional media firm that leverages the latest in technology and campaigns to tell stories, influence decision makers, fight for issues, and win at the ballot.


Our firm is seeking a Vice President level and higher (Managing Director), Business Development lead who will focus on establishing strategic direction, cultivating new relationships and business, developing key sales, and working in conjunction with our client team and CEO.


How you’ll make an impact:

  • Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with senior leadership across political agencies and organizations.

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to optimize new business development opportunities.

  • Develop a strategic sales plan and goals; Identify potential clients in the target market. 

  • Develop and maintain a volume of new business opportunities sufficient to generate significant new revenue each performance year.

  • Develop, coordinate, and assist in pitches, presentations, and proposals.

  • Conduct research and analysis on clients, industries, and competitors to help identify industry trends and new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

  • Manage and execute paid media / voter contact campaigns with the help of an experienced and knowledgeable staff (where applicable)

  • Knowledgeable and can speak credibly about all Go BIG Media services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relations, business, or related field is preferred.

  • 4+ years of prior sales or business development experience in the political field is required. 

  • Track record developing long-lasting partnerships with key political agencies and organizations. 

  • Proficient in MS Office applications

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for internal and external operations

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills

  • High level of motivation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
