How you’ll make an impact

 

• Work with the Creative Director and Account Directors to conceptualize and develop plans for a wide range of clients sites, including new builds and redesigning existing websites

• Designing graphics such as banners, buttons, icons, and other images used in web design projects

• Developing a site’s functionality by creating wireframes that describe how a website’s features should function

• Creating mockups of web pages using software programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator

• Creating full website prototypes that can be reviewed by clients prior to finalizing the design including mockups for mobile devices and tablets to ensure compatibility with different screen sizes

• Responsible for maintaining a site after it has launched.

• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards for website work

• Operating as a stand in graphic designer when not on website related projects.
   

Why we’ll love you

 

• 2-4 years of related work in Web Designing 

• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

• Knowledge and experience working with our CMS platforms, including: Wix, Squarespace, Wordpress, GoDaddy

• Working knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD  

• Familiarity with typography, color theory, illustration

• Basic knowledge of matching video to music and working with Sound Effects

• Ability to work on multiple projects at once and self-start on projects

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, campaign-style environment managing numerous projects and timelines concurrently

• Knowledge of politics and political media is helpful, but not required

 

• This position is 100% remote. 

• This position reports to the Creative Director

• Candidates that do not submit a website portfolio will not be considered
